VisionsLive was established in New Zealand in 2006 by Andreiko Kerdemelidis, a founder of the award-winning technology consultancy Intranel.
Andreiko was introduced to respected qualitative director (Vanessa Clark) working locally at international research agency Colmar Brunton. Vanessa told Andreiko she wasn’t interested at all in the quantitative analysis of a group (she was a ‘Quallie’), but instead the ‘experience‘ she has with people she speaks with, so the quantitative VisionsLive product was not going to be useful to her. This was a little disappointing to hear!
She offered a challenge – that if he could come up with a product to run focus groups over the Internet that worked in a browser – that would be game-changing. And to build it quickly, because they had a focus group they could use it on in just one month!
VisionsLive team pulled all the stops out to develop a browser-based ‘Web-Cam Group’ in two weeks. The project was a success!
VisionsLive.com was born and within a year would be debuting its advanced technology at ESOMAR in Berlin.
